Wondering why I have three houses for sale in France? Here's my story.

My name is Penny Peberdy.

A few years ago, I decided to go in live in rural France, as I spoke the language a little and knew someone who had also made the move. I bought a small house in the middle of some beautiful countryside and had it entirely renovated.

Then an opportunity came up to buy another great house, which I subsequently rented out to a friend's mother.

Soon after that - to keep myself occupied and fulfil my dream of running a French-stlye brocante - I bought a small place in a nearby town and turned it into a shop with living quarters.

However, back in England my daughter became pregnant, and I eventually decided I'd like to return and live close to her and my grandchildren. Now it's time to sell my properties and move on...

You'll find details of them in the tabs above:

- Les Granges is my first house. I fell in love with it for the amazing views.
- La Tache is the second buy with loads of potential, although I haven't really started tapping it yet.
- Le Dorat is the sweet little place I bought last, a shop / house in a quiet town.

Click on the tabs at the top of the page to learn more about each place, look at photos and see where they are situated on a map.

If you're looking for a house in France, I hope one of these will be right for you.
